First Quarter · Moon in Virgo · 61% illuminated
Overview
The Moon is travelling through Virgo today — the same sign as your Virgo Sun — so the emotional weather may feel close to the skin. A useful lens: name the feeling before deciding what it asks of you. Under a First Quarter Moon, the useful question is what adjustment keeps the plan honest. The strongest thread today runs through energy and initiative, so the first step deserves care.
Focus: build on the stretch of the day that already flows.
Mind & Communication
Mercury in Gemini · Square to your Sun
Mercury in Gemini squares your Sun, so words may land at angles today. Reading a message twice — once for content, once for tone — is cheap insurance.
Love & Values
Venus in Cancer · Sextile to your Sun
Venus in Cancer offers your Sun a friendly sextile. Small shared pleasures — coffee made for two, a link sent with care — fit the scale of the day.
Energy & Drive
Mars in Taurus · Trine to your Sun
Energy and intention cooperate under this Mars trine. Steady exertion, honestly paced, tends to satisfy more than a sprint.

About this reading
Planetary positions here are approximate, computed from a simplified ephemeris and rounded to the sign a planet is passing through. When a planet sits within about a degree of a sign boundary, that section says so — precision beyond the sign is not claimed. The text is generated from those sign-level transits as a reflection prompt for journaling and perspective, not as a prediction of events. Why this result? How Astracana works things out →
