Waning Crescent · Moon in Cancer · 5% illuminated
Overview
With the Moon in Cancer opposite your Capricorn Sun, today highlights the space between what you feel and what is asked of you. A useful lens: balance is a practice today, not a problem to solve. Under a Waning Crescent Moon, rest and low input are legitimate strategies, not delays. The strongest thread today runs through mood and instinct, so pacing matters as much as plans.
Focus: hold both sides a moment longer before choosing.
Mind & Communication
Mercury in Cancer · Opposition to your Sun
An opposition Mercury can surface a difference of interpretation. Defining one shared term — budget, soon, fine — can dissolve most of it.
Love & Values
Venus in Leo · Quiet to your Sun
Venus in Leo keeps a neutral distance from your Sun, so affection runs on its usual rails. The regular kindnesses — remembered details, kept promises — are the story today.
Energy & Drive
Mars in Libra · Square to your Sun
Mars in Libra squares your Sun, so impatience is the day's weather to dress for. Counting to ten is not weakness; it is steering.

About this reading
Planetary positions here are approximate, computed from a simplified ephemeris and rounded to the sign a planet is passing through. When a planet sits within about a degree of a sign boundary, that section says so — precision beyond the sign is not claimed. The text is generated from those sign-level transits as a reflection prompt for journaling and perspective, not as a prediction of events. Why this result? How Astracana works things out →
